Hotel to Port of Tampa fare?

Sorry if this is repeat, but I couldn't find anything on this...I saw how much it costs from airport, but can someone tell me is it a flat rate from hotels as well to Port of Tampa or is there a specific taxi company that will offer me a flat rate? We booked through Hotwire and won the Holiday Inn Express Rocky Point Island....so we are NOT under their package deal. Do you know how much a taxi would cost from our hotel to Port of Tampa (it is for 3 of us). Thank you again!

I would call the hotel front desk to double check, but it should be on the meter for under $25 (for the cab, not per person). Good luck! :)

Standard fare rate in Tampa is two bucks + $2.25 per mile. I don't know the exact mileage from that hotel to the port, but it's around 9 miles (would vary depending on the route the cabbie takes - which could change if there are traffic issues - but the logical ways to get there aren't significantly different mileage-wise).

You'll be looking at right around $25 + tip - similar to the airport fare (not surprising, since the hotels are relatively near the airport).
