My first try at snokeling.. I want to do a excurstion on a boat and go out to the reefs. I do not have a lot of upper body strength. How hard is it to get back in the boat? ;)

Most boats will have a ramp or ladder or some other device for getting back on the boat.

under normal circumstances

if you can climb a 6 step ladder, you can handle the average boat ladder (on a nice day)

the boat in 99 out of 100 times WILL have a ladder, but depending on the seas it might be bouncing a bit . . .

In Key West a few of the trips use large catamarans - Fury and Sebago. They lower a stepped ramp from the bows and you can virtually sit into the water one step at a time. Getting out is just about as easy. The ramp is long enough so that the last step is under water and you can sit on this, remove your fins, then climp back into the boat.
