Pacific rainforest aerial tram tour

Keep in mind that tourism is a big industry for Costa Rica and there are usually multiples of everything. Several aerial trams, frog & butterfly sanctuaries, canal or mangrove tours, zip lines... So, unless you know specifically which one you are going to it is hard to say anything for certain.

Generally though, because of the number of noisy tourists that ride aerial trams and your limited time in the air you may not see the more reclusive or difficult to spot animals.

Down in that region though you have a good chance of seeing many interesting animals but much will depend on when you visit. Sometimes you cannot throw a stone without hitting a parrot or toucan while a few months later you might not see a single one. Howler monkeys are pretty common, wide spread and sometimes come very close to people and a real treat if you get to hear them. A guide can be a big help or at least doing your research online before your trip to learn what animals sound like. For example, learning what a toucan sounds like will make it much easier to locate them in the trees, and learning the screeching sound of parrots will queue you to look up when you hear them coming.
