Inside D226 Grand class ships

We are Princess people but have decided to try a two day P & O cruise out of Southampton next May. The fact that this cruise would assist us to getting to Elite tipped the balance for us! We have booked an inside cabin on Ventura D226 - I notice this cabin is also on most of the Grand class ships on Princess. D226 is one of only 3 inside cabins just forward of the forward lifts. Has anyone been in this cabin? I am hoping it's a quiet spot. I see from the deck plans this cabin is indented a little not sure why

Since the cabins are modular, constructed identically, there might be an obstruction at the corridor wall (like a column) that caused them to set the cabin back.
