NY help needed

Whats the best way to get from LaGuardia to the pier on 12th Avenue on a Saturday morning. We would also like to stop and pick up some soda and water for the cruise. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated. Also when we debark the ship we will be not flying out until early evening. Whats the best way to sight see, shop and then get back to LaGuardia. what can we do with our suitcases why we are sightseeing?

There are tons of shops (mostly "Bodegas") on 10th avenue, which is 2 blocks from the cruise terminal.

We just spent the day in Manhattan on a Saturday after our cruise. We caught a cab at the port and stored our luggage at Schwartz Luggage Storage near the Port Authority. It was $20 for 2 bags for the day, and although the place was a little strange and funky, our luggage was there when we got back and the girl working was friendly. This was about the only option we could find to store luggage after our cruise if we did not take a cruise sponsored tour. Hope this helps. Schwartz has a web site.
