Has anyone stayed at the Hyatt Place Dania Beach?

So I got the Hyatt PLace Airport/cruise port on PL for a great deal (or at least I think).Has anyone stayed there and was it decent? I am more of as long as it is clean I'm good . It says it has a shuttle from airport. How much for a cab to the port ? We have 9 of us .Should I book ahead for that ? We have never cruised out of FLL so the whole area is new to us. I have read so many things and at this point everything is just muddled together. Any help or recommendations would be great. Thanks

The area is great as far as being able to walk to shopping/restaurants. We stayed in that area last October and also had 9 of us. We called for 2 cabs (vans). With tip, it was $25 per cab. We actually fit 4 people into a car/cab (a bit of a mix up but it worked) with no problem.
