NOW I can get excited !

Our passport renewals arrived today, 25 days from the day we sent them in, phew !! I knew I should have sent the renewal application in sooner, but got busy...so, DH and I have been sweating about it. When the doorbell rang at 9:15 tonight, we both jumped. I peaked outside and all I could see was this guy in our pitch black yard, waving around what looked to be a flashlight. I was a little freaked out and asked DH to get the door because I wasn't sure what this guy was doing in our yard. Hubby answered the door and turns out it was a delivery guy for Canada Post, the "flashlight" that I saw was the hand-held machine that I had to sign on to accept the delivery: our passports ! We are SO happy. NOW we can relax about that and start really looking forward to the B2B cruise we have booked on Carnival Liberty - yay ! 26 more sleeps ;)

25 Days...I would have been sweating buckets until they arrived !

 

I'm lucky, we have a Passport office in a mall 5 minutes from my house, and new applications and renewals are taking 7 to 10 days (a friend of our got theirs in 5 days from drop-off to delivery at her door !!).
