Miami, Paradise or the Boatyard?

 

I was all for the boatyard but have now been told there are better beaches hhheeeeelllpppp please !

It all depends on what you're looking for.

 

Do you want something close to port?

Do you want calm water or some wave action?

Do you want something with amenities?

Do you want a beach where you can do some snorkeling?

 

There are so many beautiful beaches in Barbados...

Taxi ride away would be ok..... I would just love a beautiful beach with a few amenities or more.. Definitely need sun beds , bar etc... And of course beautiful blue clear water.... Not too worried about snorkelling on this one !

I'd go with Carlisle Bay. Beautiful sand, calm water, lots of amenities, several beach bars to choose from, including The Boatyard.

 

It's also quite close to port (about 2 miles or so). Do a Google Image search of Carlisle Bay, you'll see what I mean. It's about a mile-long slice of paradise:)
