Lafayette59 Posted September 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2012 We read that there will be a Rabbi on Board for High Holidays. Does anyone know if there will be any kind of Services for Yom Kippur, the 25th of September, the first night of the cruise?

Bill Leiber Posted September 17, 2012 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2012 We read that there will be a Rabbi on Board for High Holidays. Does anyone know if there will be any kind of Services for Yom Kippur, the 25th of September, the first night of the cruise? Hello Lafayette59, Ctbx1 and others - I've learned that it was difficult to schedule a rabbi on both vessels for the Yom Kippur Holiday due to their previous long-standing commitments with their Temples and other religious organizations. We will be providing a small service conducted by our cruise director along with guests who might also volunteer to participate. Wishing you a Happy and Healthy New Year and a memorable experience onboard the Azamara Quest next week! rarespirit Posted September 26, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Yom Kippur on a cruise ship? Sound like some serious sins to repent from if you need to abstain for 25 hours in that environment. Fast well and I'm jealous!
