Panama Canal Partial Transit-Port or Starboard Cabin

Recommended Posts

We are booked on the Island Princess for a partial transit of the Panama Canal in April 2013. It probably doesn't make much difference which side we are on for Panama Canal itself, but I was wondering if one side is better than the other for the rest of the itinerary. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

The best scenery is at the bow or stern of the ship making no difference which side your cabin is on. Even on trips all the way through the canal booking a port or starboard cabin means you'll be missing out on something on the opposite side if you only stay in your cabin.
