About the sofa bed on the Pacific (or Ocean)...

We just booked a very long cruise on the Pacific Princess. DH made the booking and put us in a balcony cabin that will accommodate 3 persons. So, it has a sofa bed.

 

We've spent a lot of time on the little ships but never had a cabin with a sofa bed. I'm wondering if the sofa beds are less comfortable than the regular little sofas and if there is any other difference in the cabin.

 

Anyone know? I couldn't find the info when searching on CC.

The sofa is more like a love seat. I never tried it as a bed, but it's next to the balcony windows and a great place to sit and read.

Yeah - I know what the love seat is like...but is the sofa bed/love seat much different? Less comfortable? I guess I'm asking anyone who has been in a cabin with both types of sofas...

We've had it, but never opened it. Didn't have the need. Which long cruise did you book?

Each time we travel with a 3rd person, I always sleep on the sofa bed and it's very comfortable! I have slept on them on 3 different ships and never had a complaint! It's better than the pull down space ship beds :)
