Gopherville Gal Posted September 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2012 Anyone had experience with using PG's "guest contact" form? It's for contacting someone who is currently on board the ship. Wondering if there's any charge for using it.
Emdee Posted September 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2012 My husband was once called on the phone when we were on board ( Regent days). It was 4 am so the reception was not eager to wake him up. At his staff's insistence they did wake him up and he took the call. The bill his employer paid ended up being $2000. Cannot remember how long it was.
Gopherville Gal Posted September 22, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted September 22, 2012 Oh no!! Your hubby's employer had to pay $2000 for that "contact" to go through?! We are selling my recently-deceased parents' home, and I just "know" we'll get an offer while we are half way 'round the world (and the real estate agent will need to contact us). :-(
Escriteur Posted September 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2012 Ship-to-shore calling (and vice versa) is always expensive. A better option might be to purchase one of the internet packages ($62.50 for 250 minutes, or $35 for 100 minutes) and check in on email once or twice a day, if your realtor would be willing to contact you via email rather than calling. (Wireless access can be somewhat spotty throughout the ship, so hit the internet lounge if you need a reliable connection.)
