Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted September 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2012 Anyone familiar with the band "Best Sellers", who I understand are currently on the Legend? Tom

I am bummin that there are no Music (add whichever) asian bands onboard. Agreed - I have enjoyed several of the MUSIC bands and Blood Power (the only non-"music" band that I liked). Hopefully Best Sellers will compare to them! Tom

Vidimom Posted September 24, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 24, 2012 Just got off the Legend yesterday and Best Sellers were in Sachtmo's lounge and also playing near Truffles on several occasions. They did a lot of oldies and we really enjoyed their music.

How do they compare (talent, variety, interaction) to the various "music" bands? Was there any live music in the casino (behind the bar)? cuyahoga11 Posted October 8, 2012 #7 Share Posted October 8, 2012 Tom Just got off the Legend today. I would have to say Best Sellers is OK but does not compare to Music Degree. Also in the casino, sorry to say he was bad and you will need earplugs.

How was your trip otherwise?? Thanks, Tom
cuyahoga11 Posted October 8, 2012 #9 Share Posted October 8, 2012 Thanks for reporting back! Two strikes in the casino: Smoke and bad singing! ... Nonetheless, I'll give it a try! How was your trip otherwise?? Thanks, Tom The trip was good start to finish. Food prep was wonderful. Everything was piping hot when it was served and never had a wait with YTD. They now use the whole upper floor for YTD and downstairs for traditional. Take earplugs for the singer but smoke was not bad at all.
SkyMaster Posted October 9, 2012 #10 Share Posted October 9, 2012 Thanks for reporting back! Two strikes in the casino: Smoke and bad singing! ... Nonetheless, I'll give it a try! How was your trip otherwise?? Thanks, Tom Hey Tom. Sounds like you won't be able to enter the casino. Just think of all the money you'll save! ;) Seriously, I have yet to find an entertainer who plays in one of the casinos aboard ship, that was worth listening to? It's almost as though they hire the worst musicians for that gig? You'd think they'd want people to stay in the casino,,,,not leave it screaming with their hands over their ears. Have a GREAT cruise anyway. For some oldies could be the Hansen Brothers or BackStreet Boys or Everything But the Girl from the 90's.
