I put in for a rate reduction under the ES rate. Here's what they said....

You booked a ES and picked your room, but the Pack-n-go rates, you don't know where you'll be placed. So you need to determine if the lower cost is worth being in a room that may be in a bad location.

To price-match Early Saver to Pack-and-Go (or any Guarantee booking) you have to be willing to give-up your ES assigned cabin for a To-Be-Assigned cabin, to be assigned sometime before/at sailing, anywhere on the ship. ken

I just did this last week and it is perfectly right. Military IS was cheaper than what I had booked so was able to switch to an inside guarantee and will get the obc. Fortunately prices went down again this am so looking to get another price drop.:D

I did this on my last cruise and ended up in the same room I had booked when they gave me my assigned room. Worked out well for us as it was $100 OBC.
