Upgrade to a Window Suite?

Have you ever been Upgraded to a Window Suite and if so what were you upgraded from???

It looks like you're not getting too many answers. The only upgrades to window suites I've heard of were from oceanview rooms. Most people who book balconies wouldn't want to give them up. We booked a window suite for our Hawaii cruise and loved it. They're perfect for a cool weather cruise and can be a great deal if you book them at the right time.

Most people are upgraded from window/outside cabins.

 

Someone reported that they had a balcony and was called if they wanted a window suite and they turned it down. I think if anyone has a balcony, they would call and ask first.

I think these days they are mostly offered as an upsell to people in Outsides. We were offered one in February for $200pp, but didn't take it as it would be for only one part of a B2B. I probably should have done it anyway.
