EGG Posted October 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2012 We booked the cruise late and some of the shows were completely booked. I've heard you can book as soon as you get on the ship. Yes I know you can stand on line but I cannot stand for long periods of time, especially if I don't know if I will get in. Where would I go to book on embarkation day? Any idea what time. With such a large ship I won't be able to run back an forth. Any other hints to get a reserved time?
Trekker954 Posted October 9, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2012 Get onboard early and be at Studio B by 1 pm. They'll have a list of all the shows and times (sometimes more shows then were listed online). you jot down which shows you want while waiting your turn which won't be long if you show up on time (or early). They'll get you in most. Those unlikely will be the comedy shows. Also check when you get onboard at the service desk, they usually have a Compass Weekly Glance that will list all the shows for the week, so you can also figure out which shows/nights you want to book before you even get to Studio B. Tip: Try and book the aqua shows as if there is bad weather, you can try and reschedule or waitlist to see on a better day if it gets cancelled. NYCRUISR Posted October 10, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 10, 2012 From our experience it seemed to be availability to almost all the shows. Just arrive 15 minutes before showtime. Not much waiting. At 10 minutes to go they'll let the wait list people in. True, the Comedy show is iffy but near the end of the week you should get in.
