Water taxis to cruise in venice

Need some help were staying at the londra palace in venice the nigbt before our cruise leaves there is a water taxi station directly in front of the hotel. Does anyone know if we show up at any time will there be water taxis available to take us to the cruise port? Or will we need a reservation? Also are these pruvate water taxis or shared?

 

And does anyone know where the taxis leave you at the cruise port? Were wonderjng if it will be difficult to fjnd our cruise once the taxi drops us off. Were going on the royal carribean splendour of the seas

Not to worry. There will be taxis waiting near your hotel. Or ask your hotel to book one. The charge from the Londra Palace to the port should be 70 +/- 10 euros. If the hotel tells you it is a lot more than that, then just get your own. Water taxis can be shared. They take 6 easily. We always shared.

The taxi dock at the Marittima is at the inside top of the inverted U of the terminal. You can see it clearly on Google earth or maps. The water taxis are the small white boats. The slightly larger white boats are water buses.

 

You will pass by your cruise ship on the way so you will know exactly where it is. The taxi drop is near the luggage drop. Have fun.

Thank you so much londra palace told us the taxi would be 80 euro but j dont remeberbif thats per person or for 2 people now when we arrive qt the cruise do we have to gake a land taxi or can we walk to where the cruises are?

The price is for the taxi. Find a couple to share with and it will only be 40 per couple.

Copy and paste these coordinates into google earth or google maps You will be at the water taxi dock. The luggage drop is just to the left of the cruise ship in the satellite view.
