St Charles Trolley Line Repairs?

Any of you NOLA natives know how long the St Charles Trolley Line is going to be closed for repairs? We have reservations at the Hampton Inn and were looking forward to using the Trolley to get around:(:confused:

Canal Street is under construction. Buses taking place of streetcars.

 

St. Charles and Riverfront are up and running.

A review of the Hampton Inn on St. Charles said that the trolley was not running by the hotel and the buses were very crowded due to the construction.:(

That could be true. They are adding another streetcar line on Loyola Avenue, and that is effecting parts of the line downtown. It changes all the time.

 

The rest of the line is running once you get out of the CBD.

Well, part of St. Charles Steetcar line IS running, but only from Napoleon Ave to Carrollton Ave. Busses are taking you on the other part that is still under repair.
