St. Martin pier

Yes, there is a pretty good beach in St. Martin. But, not what I would call within actual 'walking' distance. Just walk down the pier and to the left you will see the water taxi ramp. $5 pp gets you a wristlet that entitles you to ride all day back and forth. Take the water taxi to the second stop and you will be right next to the beach. Chairs and umbrellas are there to rent and it is usually negotiable but end up being about $5 pp per day.

On your way back to the water taxi, just walk up from the beach to the first street, lots of shopping on your way back with some of the best prices in the Caribbean.
