Bear Adventure in Ketchikan Alaska with kids?

We will be cruising to Alaska in late July with our children ages 7 & 6. Has anyone done the Bear Adventure excursion to Neets bay with children this age? We would like to if it wouldn't be pushing it too much. Any advice would be appreciated!
