Montego Bay Shore Excursion

Did anyone do the rafting on the Martha Brae tour. I was thinking of taking that one but wanted some reviews first.

Did the Martha Brae a few years ago. It was a wonderful and relaxing tour. We did that out of Ocho. I would imagine it is a pretty good trek from MoBay. Only caution, at least from our experience, is to be prepared for some semi-aggressive local vendors popping up out of nowhere as you wind your way down the river.

I agree with the last poster very relaxing tour. If you have not climbed Dunn River Falss that tour is a blast.

Should I bring bug spray with me? Are flip flops ok?

Haven't done the Martha Brae but have heard it is nice. We did the Jungle River Tubing in Mo Bay and had a wonderful time. For more information, go to http://www.chukkacaribbean.com.

Flip flops would be fine. As far as the bug spray, it certainly never hurts, although I don't recall any problem with bugs at all, which is kind of surprising on a river through a haevily wooded area.
