Just wondering. Are the cabins that can accommodate up to 4 persons like they were at one time, still sticking out of the wall that would hit your head or are they all recessed into the walls?

Yes, there are cabins on many of the ships that have the upper berths attached to the wall. When not in use, they protrude out from the wall by about 10 inches and some passengers have reported that they regularly bumped into this protrusion. It is difficult to determine which ships and which cabins have these beds. Most cabins that accommodate 3/4 have upper berths that recess completely flat into the ceiling.
