How far is Rainbow Beach from the pier in St. Croix?

If anyone knows how far Rainbow Beach is from Frederiksted Pier I would appreciate it. I just need to know if it's a cab ride away or within reasonable walking distance. Thank you!

We walked. We took an ATV tour with Geckos Island Adventures and they dropped us at Rainbow afterwards. It was about a mile walk but it is along a regular road and there isn't alot of shoulder/walking area to it...I'm not sure if I'd do the walk again! :)

Last year, the "shuttle" to Rainbow Beach was $6.00 pp round trip.

I believe this is a local shuttle service and the cost was $6.00 PP RT. At the end of the pier there were a couple of tables with ladies arranging transportation for around the island. We bought our RT tickets from them. I just assumed it was some type of shuttle/taxi service because when we were ready to leave Rainbow Beach, we just waited outside the bar area and if the taxi/shuttle van wasn't there, one came along very shortly. We just all piled in and we were back to the ship in probably 5-10 minutes. Very easy.

They do. I don't remember what the cost was though!

I was just there last Friday on the Brilliance. Yes, you can rent chairs for $ 5 per chair and umbrellas were $10. Cab was $3 each way.

Yes, food is available, pretty much sandwiches and burgers, along with a full bar. They did have bathrooms, didn't notice any separate changing areas though.

We spent a Sunday at Rythems at Rainbow beach last week. $20 for two chairs and an umbrella. Beautiful breach and clean bathrooms and food service.
