Has anyone ever gone over to the Atlantis Casino, when they docked? If so did you have children with you? Was there a lot for them to do?

 

We were thinking, that instead of buying an excursion, that we would taxi over to the casino. That way we could play (very little) and have the kids do some aquarium or water park stuff?

 

any knowledge is very appreciated.

We were there last year. Atlantis will not allow people to just walk on property and use the amenties. I believe you can get a day rate to use a hotel room for 4 people. They give you arm bands...The place is awesome. Like a big water park. I didn't care for the casino. $10 & up blackjack. I like $5, it lasts longer. :)

You have to book a room there (EXPENSIVE) or a room across the street at Comfort Suites....yes, 4 to a room...we paid 150.00 for our room for the night even though u don't use it...you can just check in and not take the keys and get your armband at the ATlantis....or take the keys and clean up afterwards. Lots to do there...they are picky about the armbands...people always checking for it before you do this or that...

Also, they will not allow you to stop in the casino if you have kids with you. You can walk through, but that is it.

You don't need a wrist band to go the casino, shops and restaurants. I went there on my last cruise to Nassau - did some shopping and donated some money to the casino.
