Jiffymom Posted October 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Would love to stay southernmost on the beach but my budget says try the southern most hotel. Any opinions and what about the Key West Inn they have some great rates for June
bhopal21 Posted October 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Go for the Southernmost Hotel. It is a great property in a good location and a well run business. The Inn at Key West (I assume that is the other place you are referrring to) is not at all convenient to old town and I have not heard any good recent reviews. peter_krynicki Posted October 25, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2012 If it's the Key West harbor Inn http://keywestharborinn.com/ I'd go for that. It's in a great location and while it has no access to a beach you could wander over to Dante's and use their big pool. Pjk
FKGirl Posted October 25, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Agree with all the above... harbor inn is very nice! Inn at Key West is terribly inconvenient and very much looks like an inexpensive chain hotel. I'd pick southernmost in a second over that one... tunaman2011 Posted October 25, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Greetings Harbor Inn is probably our favorite place to stay in Key West. Very cute place and a fantastic location. Good Sailing Tom
Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted October 26, 2012 #6 Share Posted October 26, 2012 If the OP means the Inn at Key West, it is located on North Roosevelt, a road that is currently undergoing major repairs which are creating frustrating traffic tie ups. Last weekend some of our wedding party stayed at the big Marriott resort and were not allowed to leave the hotel and turn left. They had to drive way out of their way to get to our hotel on South Roosevelt. I'd stay away from any hotels located on North Roosevelt. Study your maps carefully before you choose a hotel. GradUT Posted October 29, 2012 #7 Share Posted October 29, 2012 We stayed at the Best Western Hibiscus in June and it's located very near the Southernmost. So you get essentially the same location for a lot less. (And how much time do you plan to spend in the room anyway?)

I have never heard a complaint on that property. It consistently gets great reviews. Mike:)
