HINTS FOR ALASKA 'LAND & CRUISE"

Instead of a review (since it was all GREAT") I thought I would give some thoughts and hints -remember now we went May 10-21,2005 -,some thinks won't apply in summer.... 1) only pack your suit case or at least one of them 1/2 full (need room for stuff you buy) 2) BE AN ONION --layer your clothes 3) wear warm clothes on the train -- (it is berr cold ) 4) Bring sunglass (the sun is different 5) do Land tour 1 st --- cruise -last 6) 23 cents for postcards 7) travel alarm (some wake up phones didn't work , I was stressing ) 8) only get a Balcony -save for it do without something else but not this 9) dont spend all your money on side trip's -go to welcome center and walk on the walking tour its fun 10) take the elevator -then when you order dessert you won't feel guilty --- 11) always soap your rag--- shower's very small on cruise ship ... 12) on train ride always have -- camer and binocular's handy for the wildlife...===e-mail me if you would like to know something ---- gschiltz@scana.com
