What is the customs/disembarkation procedure?

Can anybody say what the normal customs/disembarkation procedure is for a non US citizen when arriving back into Port Canaveral. Do we do customs on the ship before we get off and then once ashore do it again? Or it is all done either onboard or ashore?

At PC it is done onshore, sometimes there is a seperate line for non US, sometimes not, customs and immigration are all done by one officer, very painless
