airhose Posted October 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 28, 2012 This is probably a question for Bill. Given that the Journey will be docking at the new cruise terminal, will a shuttle be provided for getting closer to the downtown area? Thanks for any info you can provide. We are on the Feb. 3 sailing:).
Dr H Posted October 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2012 Even if they don't provide shuttles, taxis are extremely inexpensive to use (no tipping), and the terminal is very close to metropolitan subway lines. There are several "downtowns" in Singapore, all probably within 2-3 miles of the terminal. Definitely too far to walk, but very easy to navigate. The Singapore subway system is beyond spotless, it's cool, and very easy to use. Transportation to and from just about anywhere in Singapore is never a problem. The only real problem you will face there is when, what, and where to eat! Enjoy your trip.
