loppster Posted May 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2004 I have a large group(13 people) going on our cruise in June. My questions is... Will the cruise line sit us all together? When we booked the cruise, we all picked the same dining time and on the email confirmation, it says we requested a "large" table. Does this mean they will accomodate all of us at the same table? Thanks in advance!! serene56 Posted May 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Did you book with the same travel agent? if not make sure all the booking numbers are link together. You wont be at the same table as there are no tables that hold that many. But you will be at two tables close together. One of the first things you want to do when you board is check your tables in the dining room. If it isnt what you want find where the MAtre de will be and request a seating. We sailed with 18 of us and had two tables. We rotated seatings each night so we can chat with everyone at some point since Dinner was all our meeting points. kitty9 Posted May 13, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2004 They will have to split you up between two tables. Believe me, 13 at one table won't work at all. Even with a table for 10, it's just too crowded and you're sitting on each other's laps, and you cannot move at all. It feels like sardines. I would go to the maitre'd as soon as you board and ask for two tables right next to each other. As the other poster said, you can switch seats every night so that everyone has a chance to sit with everyone else. Darcie
loppster Posted May 14, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted May 14, 2004 Thanks for your responses!!! I think I'll go for kids at one table and adults at the other. Then on the other hand, sometimes the adults get boring, so I might have to sit with the kids!!!
