HI ALL. Can someone please give me the name of the Casino Host on the STAR... OR , if not...someone going on her soon get it for me...I need to comtact him/her about the slot pull for our cruise....want suggestions for which machine we should use....some do not want the " Wheel..."

All you need to look for is a $1 machine that max bets at $3. $15 per person would equal 5 pulls on the machine at $3 each.

I will be onboard the Star on Nov 18th. I see your cruise is not until Dec 2nd. We have a slot pull also that I am organizing.

Thanks Dave......t is that some of my group want a different machine than the usual.....and had hopes the casino host would recommend one....and I can pass it on to them......so far, I have 30 people for our slot pull...which is a nice sized group...but would like about 5/10 more....did one in Jan on the Spirit with 56 people...thats just too many.....

The slot pull, the OP is asking about, is usually played on the Wheel of Furtune, $1, bet, max $3. Here's how i set it up on the Sun last Jan.

How it work's.

Everyone pay's $15.00,bets $3.00 per pull = 5 pull's per person.

Anyone can play. No one can enter after first pull. All monies have to be in machine before first pull

Should there be winning's it will be paid out in even dollars, no change.

I will have a spread sheet, to keep track of who win's what. The person who win's the most will end up with the extra change.

Ie: Say 10 people enter, 10x $15.00= $150.00, we win $275.00 :eek:

$275.00 divided x 10 = $27.50each

John Doe won the most, so John would get his $27.00 plus the balance

$5.00, whereas the other 9 would get their $27.00,make sense. :confused:

I will contact the Casino Manager to set this up, if we get any interest.

Some others have gotten a free drink, others Tee-shirts, we got a bottle, for the winner. Will be a sea day.

I do mine for $20 with a $15/$5 split. The extra $5 is put in a pot for whomever gets the highest pull. It helps make it more exciting. The pot is split equal amongst all the participants. It helps to let the Casino Host or Manager know ahead of time.

there are many ways to do the slot pull....depending on how many people are playing.....I try and keep it simple, 19% of winnings go to the casino staff for helping and the rum punch service.... regardless is how much is won....the rest is split evenly among the players... this keeps it simple. and I always do tip the crew....I only think it is the proper thing to do...

 

So, if anyone know the casino host name on the STAR, please let me know....
