The Town of Phillipsburg.

I'm certain that there will be lots of celebration in Philipsburg, but I believe that the two sides of the island alternate the 'Official Celebration' and it is scheduled to be on the French side in 2012.

 

Philipsburg events will most probably include a Frontstreet parade and festivities at the Festival Village on Pond Island, located across a walkway a couple of blocks behind the Court House.

 

That said, here are some links to the local paper describing last year's events.

I was so hoping that you would come along here. All I knew was about the church services and parade in Phillipsburg.:)

This is brilliant news! I asked the same question a while ago but got no response so I assumed that it wasn't celebrated.

We are going to be there in 2013 - even MORE excited now, a whole year of looking forward to it :)
