SJ suite on star and reserved show seating

we will be on the star in a SJ suite and was curious if you get a special place to sit for the shows. I remember reading somewhere it was for only certain level of suites.

If Monica is your concierge, and there is seating available, she'll allow you to sit in the reserved area. However (after the remodel of the theater) the balcony seating (reserved area) is not easy on your back.

is better from the cheap seats if you get there 10-15 min before the show. The reserved seats are at an angle and if you are a short person you have to sit on the edge to see the show.

Exactly! They may have added seats, but they are not really comfortable.

Not real big on the shows (been there done that so many times) but will have two granddaughters that love to go.

When we have stayed in the lower suites, we have always been offered reserved seats. We never stay in the row reserved for the DOS, GV, or OS though. We always attend the last show and there are always plenty of seats available.

 

On our last cruise, we twice saw non-suite guests appear after the show started and push the DOS, GV, or OS guests from their selected seats down the row, to the end. The end of the row for DOS, GV, or OS guests are some of the worst seats in the theater.

 

None of the reserved seats are all that great. We use them because we don't have to show-up early and you can exit quickly after the show.
