Extra immunizations???

Has anyone gotten extra immunizations for babies traveling to ports? We are traveling with our 15 month old and are wondering if we should get her any extra shots for traveling.

Know your destinations and contact your child's physician.

 

When we travelled abroad with our child when she was a baby, I always checked with her pediatrian. She never did need anything special, but it made me feel better asking. Once her doctor was uncertain about a particular destination - he contacted the travel clinic at one of the local hospitals for additional information.
