Charleston Hotel for Christmas

We are thinking of cruising out of Charleston and will be disembarking on Christmas day. Would like to spend a few days after the cruise tooling around Charleston. Any suggestions for a nice hotel within walking distance of the historic district?

We just returned from a land trip to Charleston and stayed at the Indigo Inn. The price was reasonable and included breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese. It is centrally located in the historic district. The port is within walking distance as are several restaurants. You will love Charleston. The staff at the Indigo will be helpful and will make reservations or you for tours and restaurants. Check into the Indigo.
