Diamond Princess - 5/28/05 - Alaska

First time I have posted to CC, but have been lurking in the background digesting the good, bad and ugly of Princess cruise line, e.g. the Diamond.

I have gleaned valuable information from this site and want to thank those that have taken the time to post that information.

This will be my first cruise to Alaska and am looking forward to the ship and the excursions we have booked - Whale watching, & Wildlife Quest White Pass Scenic Railroad and Dogsled and Musher's Camp.

We are booked in B303, Category BC which I believe is on the Baja Deck. This is a handicap accessible room, as my Mother is in a wheelchair.

Will report back here on the good, bad (hope not) and ugly (hope not) on my impression of the cruise, etc.:)

Arizona you and your mother have a great cruise. I am also leaving on the 28th but a different ship to Alaska. You are right. You are on the Baha deck and your excursions sound great. Again have a good time.
