Best Lobster On W.carrib Run

Hi all....I posted this elsewere, but thought I might get better response here...pleas help....We will be making the W. Carrib run....Belize, Roatan, Cozumel and Cancum.....Which place has the best lobster...I know they aren't Maine lobster....but lobster is lobster.....and my mouth is starting to water....HELP>>>>>>>thanks .. jim

HI ALL...well, guess no one really likes lobster...even after reading all of these messages in other threads.......I sure hoped someone would speak up...I know people eat when ashore....and I would think LOBSTER AND COLD BEER would be great when sitting around the bar..........BUT.............

actually lobster isn't lobster! i had pacific lobster once while in mexico and it doesn't come close to maine lobster!:rolleyes:

A better question would be "Does anyone serve Maine lobster?" Warm water lobster is what I believe most of the ships in the Caribbean serve, the tails, since there are no claws. The meat is dry and stringy, not juicy, sweet and tender like maine lobster. I would rather have a medium rare hamburger!
