Free Air Offers

Has anyone taken either the Royal or Star Clipper with the free air option? Do they use regularly scheduled flights or do they set up charters?

We used the free air option out of Washington to St Martin for the Star Clipper. We travelled on American Airlines. The ship is too small to worry about charters. We had to pay a little extra to spend a few extra days on St Martin, but it worked fine. The only problem we had was when they called us a few days before the trip to tell us how to get the shuttle to the ship. Of course they have gotten us tickets that got us to St Martin prior to their call.
