Family of 7 on a budget..

What is there for a family of 7 (ages ranging from 10-19) to do in Cozumel without breaking the bank on excursions?

Taxi to Paradise Beach (about $30+tip for all 7 of you, each way) and enjoy the beach, a huge pool, etc. Only fee is $2 per person for chair rental plus whatever you order to eat/drink. Good luck! :)

2 times we have done the same thing. Grab a cab, have him take you to his favorite street food vendor. get food to go. Have him drop you off on the islands wild side, wander the quiet beaches exploring. Eat lunch on the rocks. Arrange a time to meet back up for the ride back.

 

This past Janaury we only saw 5 other folks all day, not counting passing cars up on the road.
