Royal vs Celebrity Summit 9062-9080

We originally booked Royals Jewel out of San Juan Oct 2013 but thanks to cc we found out that the connecting balconies cannot be opened this is a deal breaker as we all like to meet on our balconies watch the sunset and have a few drinks together. We are looking at Celebrity Summit 8 Aqua Class A2 cabins 9062-9068 midship but I am worried about the noise from deck 11 deck plan I saw showed this to be a pool area. We also would like to know how Royal compares to celebrity? Any help you can give us would be greatly appreciated.

On Summit, the connecting balconies don't open either.

 

If this is a deal-breaker for you, you'll need to book on an S class ship.

Wow our Ta assured us that we could open balconies if we each room requested they be open. She said she checked with 3 different people. Thanks for letting us know.

We have been in 9062 two times and we have not had any problem with noise. Going again in November and have already booked once more in 9062
