missmacie Posted November 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2012 We just booked a balcony cabin on the Pride, leaving from Baltimore on February 24, 2013. I recall when we booked the Freedom last year, it asked what our preference was for table size. We selected 4 people... but we would like to change this to a larger table. Is this not something that is asked each time? Or how would I change our preference?
Chigirlcruzin Posted November 18, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2012 In 13 Carnival cruises, I've never been asked for table size preference. They only ask for your time preference.
missmacie Posted November 18, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted November 18, 2012 I'm positive that last time we booked, they asked if we wanted small [2], medium [4-6] or large [8-10]. This time they didn't though...
jlk806 Posted November 18, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2012 If you book through like Expedia or possibly other sites I have seen that as an option, but Carnivals website does not.
missmacie Posted November 18, 2012 Author #5 Share Posted November 18, 2012 Hmmm.. I must be confusing it with something else then because we did book through Carnival's website.
tef43 Posted November 18, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 18, 2012 You can no longer request specific table size when booking, been this way for a few years.
Crazy4Koko Posted November 18, 2012 #7 Share Posted November 18, 2012 I dont know if it makes a difference, BUT.... On our first cruise ( 1992) it was just two of us..we were at a group table. On our second cruise, we linked reservations with another couple and had a table for 4, and ever since we've been linking reservations with other people, our table size has been 'number in our party' specific. I also have some friends who travel as couples with no dining preference, they are usually at larger tables... Best thing to do is check your seating on day of sail, and see if it suits you...if not, see if you can change it.
9876 Posted November 18, 2012 #8 Share Posted November 18, 2012 I do wish there was still an option to put in your preference though.
