A client of mine does this to fill in his 'retirement time' (Crystal Cruises far east earlier this year) and my Uncle works as a guest entertainer for P & O.

 

My Aunt accompanies him on some of the cruises (not all as he has to sometimes fly - ship to ship) could think of worse ways for them to spend their 'retirement'!

 

Saving up my stories for retirement - and i know what i'd like to be doing :)

Gordon Parr was a guest lecturer on Spirit cruise "Idyllic Iberia" in Sept./Oct. - gave a very interesting talk on his military career in the Household Cavalry accompanied by a slideshow.

 

He did mention that he was recruiting potential fellow lecturers for the future.

 

Paying £20 a day plus "working" two x 45 minute lecturering slots in order to get a mega discounted cruise - sounds good to me !!!
