Family of 5 Looking for a hotel near the Ft. Lauderdale Airport

We are sailing out of Port Everglades and are arriving the night before we sail. Any suggestions on where a family of 5 (getting only 1 room or suite)can stay for the night? Children's ages 6,3,infant.

Pier 66 Hyatt is within shouting distance of Port Everglades and the port is less than a 10 minute drive from the airport. That's probably your closest choice.

We stayed at Embassy Suites. It is real close to the port and the hotel van will take you to the port. It is a 2 room suite and includes hot breakfast buffet in the morning. (And happy hour in the evenings, if you are interested).

There is a Publix grocery store, a pharmacy and several restaurants within walking distance.
