Mac Pete Posted November 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 23, 2012 We've joined a small group that will be enjoying a day sailing on "Aristocat" while on Tortola. The plan, from Cap'n Stephen: "You would join Aristocat at the tender dock at 8.00am and we will set sail for Norman Island and surrounding area, during the day we will make a number of stops at different locations to swim and snorkel in the clearest water in the Caribbean, we also keep you well refreshed with unlimited drinks and an extensive buffet lunch freshly prepared and served on board, we return in plenty of time for you to rejoin your ship, around 1 hour before sailing." Sounds good, don't it? MUCH better than a trip with 47 or so of your new closest friends from the ship....crammed on a coach...racing to join 6 other coaches...to take photos of the back of some guy's sunburned head?? Just sayin'... We need 2 more travellers to make it a go. I'm sure if you plopped Aristocat Charters BVI into Google, you'd find more info. Hope to see you onboard! blue_water Posted November 24, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 24, 2012 Just to help you recruit another couple (which shouldn't be too difficult), we haven't yet taken the Aristocat but there are several great reviews/reports from other cruisers who have enjoyed the Aristocat sail, and the beauty is you leave from Road Town and not from West End which is a 1/2 hr taxi away. Sounds like a perfect day in the BVI, Airistocat is one of 4 excellent cat operators out of Tortola - have a great day!
