Deck 8 and access to Park and Boardwalk

We are booked on Deck 8 8612.

Can anyone tell me how we can access the Boardwalk and Park areas?

 

The photos of the ship does not give us a clear entrance path.

You are on the same deck as Central Park. You would just head down the hallway to the stairs-elevator bank and enter there. You are about midway down, so either stairs-elevator bank would do. The Boardwalk is on Deck 6, so you would head to the aft stairs-elevator bank, walk down to Deck 6 and enter there.

We stayed on deck 8 on our last cruise. You're going to love it. We liked going for early morning and late night walks in the park. Good for breakfast, dinners, and drinks. We loved the park and rally liked being only a few doors away from it.

Entrance to Central Park is from the elevator lobbies on either end of the park.

 

Entrance to Boardwalk is on deck 6. You cross the bridge between the elevator lobbies from the Royal Promenade.

we were on 7 and liked it a lot too. Lots of just taking the stairs instead of waiting for a lift.

Well there you go. We made a good choice.

I thought it would be noisy but since the hallway to the cabins do not have direct access to the Park we will be o.k.

So looking forward to this cruise.

Central Park is by far the prettiest spot on the ship. A stroll through the park is a nice break between events, dinner, or a relaxing sit. It can get a bit windy in the evenings in certain spots, but nothing to fret about. Eating in Giovanni's and looking out to the park is wonderful. They pipe in bird sounds at all hours.
