Military Discount for CADETS

Carnival expaned their policy to include Cadets. Has anyone used this discount and what do they mean my CADET?? My son (12 years old) is a cadet in the Civil Air Patrol (Air Force Auxillary). Waiting to see if he qualifies and if there is anyone else that got a discount for a cadet. Nice to have more info if they decline him. Thanks for any info....

I believe CADET refers to Cadets in a US Military Academy - adults.

I would think that the definition of cadet would include anyone in a college ROTC program that results in military service. They have valid military ID cards and are often granted some of the privleges of reservists in the military.
