katiepe Posted November 30, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2012 Just wanted to let you know that there is no message light on the phones on the NCL Spirit so unless you pick up the phone you will have no idea you have a message. This was an issue for our cruise as we had messages I didnt get until 4 days after they were left. Luckily it wasnt a dire emergency. I am not sure if this is the case across the line. Beaver1975 Posted November 30, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2012 There was a message light on the phones on our last two Spirit cruises. It was extremely small but it was there. John

katiepe Posted December 7, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted December 7, 2012 Well there wasnt one on the phone in our balcony cabin maybe it was broken?? But I didnt even see a "light" on the phone itself. I looked after I missed the first message. Someone that I called also commented that there was no message light on her cabin phone either so very odd. I wonder why some cabins would have them and some not? Rare mitsugirly Posted December 7, 2012 #5 Share Posted December 7, 2012 We had issues with our phone as well (interior cabin) last year in September. The light didn't work and also you couldn't dial the number that was your "wake up" call. You could never tell if it went through or not. You did not hear any type of dial tone or the numbers dialing. It was a weird "clicking" type of sound like someone hanging up. However, the wake up call came every morning. We still wasn't able to call any of the services other than the front desk.
