Princess tour "Catamaran, Turtle Encounter & Beach Break?

Has anyone taken this half day tour offered on the Emerald Princess? If so, was it good/recommended? Also wondering about the beach part of the tour---are their lounge chairs and some shade on the beach?

Last year we went on a private tour with Shasa(highly recomend). We saw the ship that took the cruise passengers, it was crowded & would not be fun in the water, bumping into everyone. With a private tour of 12 p. it was great!

Hi! We'll be on the cruise with you on Emerald Princess (1/26/13) and very much looking forward to it.

 

Yes, we've actually taken the "Catamaran, Turtle Encounter & Beach Break" thru Princess and enjoyed it. We had the same nice catamaran captain we had when doing the 5 1/2 hour one that Princess, unfortunately, no longer offers. The crew was very attentive. Everyone had close encounters with turtles and seemed happy.

 

The beach stop is very pretty with gentle blue water and white sand -- shade, but no chairs.

 

The only reason we aren't doing it on the upcoming is because we are taking several other catamaran excursions so decided to make Barbados a beach day.
