Journey VX question and laundry set up

I've read past posts about negatives being in a VX (vibration, soot). I am seriously looking at an upcoming Journey voyage, love aft location view and out-of-the-way location -- is there anyone out there who has recently come off the Journey that can update the vibration and soot issue?

 

Also, if I end up taking a stateroom outside the laundry, will it be noisy? I have no idea how the laundry room entrance is set up....

In 2008, we did a 14 night cruise on the Journey and did notice some vibration aft of the Laundry on the Port side of the ship.

 

We just got back from 11 Nights on the Journey and I did notice that the vibration did not seem to be there at all.
