cmason Posted June 10, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2004 don't know the actual dimensions, but 154sq ft would be approximately 15' x 10'. Small, but managable. Think my dorm room in college was smaller, and I lived there with a roommate for 4 years.... Join our Navigator Nov 13 roll call We meet in.. CaptData Posted June 10, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2004 This is one of the larger rooms on a ship. You will find all sorts of cubby holes to put your things in and your bags will fit under the bed. It is large enough for a bed (queen), sofa, end tables, chair and desk. Measure your livingroom for an idea of the size. Amy G Posted June 10, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 10, 2004 The bathrooms are small. On Princess we used to joke that you could shower, brush your teeth at the sink all while going to the bathroom.
cruisead Posted June 10, 2004 #5 Share Posted June 10, 2004 It will be very small, and you could feel quite cramped. The bathrooms are tiny and as another poster said, you can do all your business at one time while sitting on the commode. The showers are also so small that my husband joked that all you need to do is soap up, spin around and the shower curtain does all the work. Orcrone Posted June 10, 2004 #6 Share Posted June 10, 2004 My first cruise on RCCL had a 120+ square foot room. It was tiny. If you dropped your soap in the shower there was not enough room to bend over and pick it up. You had to step out of the shower, pick it up and get back in. Last year we were on Carnival. The room was about 195 square feet. Plenty of room for two. So to answer your question you're about 1/2 way between tiny and just fine. serene56 Posted June 10, 2004 #7 Share Posted June 10, 2004 For the amount of time spent in your cabin I think the room will be jsut fine. I mean you both wont be getting dressed at the same minute Im sure-- or you will be in each others way. There is plenty of room to get things away. I use a over the door shoe holder to keep us organized and keep things off the desk and vanity in the bathroom- The shoe holder is clear so we can find whatever we are looking for,. Speechless Posted June 11, 2004 #8 Share Posted June 11, 2004 We were in that ship last year, in an inside cabin (smallest) with FIVE people!!! It was a tad crowded, but bearable. For 2 people, you should be fine. Don't let people scare you, it's not a closet. 2 averaged sized adults will be very comfortable in that room. So long suckers!!!!
