Alterations???

Yes.

A few years back I'd packed a pair of new pair of jeans that were too long. Since the ship rented tuxes, I thought there might be someone available for tailoring tasks.

Don't recall who we asked (concierge, or maybe guest relations?), but were directed to a particular staff person. Seems she had a sewing talent and picked up some extra $ making alterations for crew members and, if asked, passengers. There was no fee schedule, only a request to pay what I thought fair. As such, I paid her what a local tailor would have charged me for the hemming.

She appeared pleased and, since I had jeans I could now wear, I was too.
